Having finished bondoing the modified gas tank being installed on my '81 yamaha xs400rk seca, I found a left petcock that faced forward and had an accessible fuel valve.
I used generic nitrile o-rings and gasket paper and new M8 10 mm bolts to seal the petcock to the gas tank.
I cut off 3 inches and 5 inches of Motion Pro 1/4" clear fuel line and installed a ITW Fastex inline right angle fuel filter.
The right angle allowed me to take the bend out of the fuel line and turn it into two curves. The clear everything looks pretty trick too.
The ITW fuel filter is superior to most other inline fuel filters on the market and the added benefit of the right angle is in beneficial in certain applications.
