And the engine even fits in a stock Ducati 900ss chassis using a stock crankshaft.
Valves adjustments would be problematic but other then that Dieter Hartmann-Wirthwein's bike is nothing short of groundbreaking. As for real world application, I can't figure that out yet but Dieter Hartmann-Wirthwein's probably got a response to that. Read more about Wirthwein's work here
