Gale Force

Sturdy reeds stand up to gale force winds along the banks of the Coquille River, west of Bandon, Oregon; which runs between the cleavage of neighboring hillsides. The sepia blue water twinkles like a thousand rhinestones each reflecting a ray of light. The river is brimming with summer steelhead and smallmouth bass and it is that concentration of fish that allows a large raptor population to flourish.
